There are significant changes that were made to the 8 th Edition (2023) Florida Building Code that will become effective on January 1 st , 2024. In order to issue your permit in a timely manner, please be sure that all applications and plans submitted after 11:59 pm on December 31, 2023 are on the updated 8th Edition (2023) forms.
